Lightning'd Press' inaugural issue will be published at the end of February. We are excitedly reading your submissions, and we welcome more until February 15th. First and foremost, our goal is to connect with new poets who feel the same way as we do about language and poetics. People who are not afraid to be sincere and who tiptoe rapt along the ridged tension of creating something new and recognizing that that is an asymptotic goal.
In the meantime, Jeff and I truly love Pam Rehm, and she has a new book of poetry out right now published by Flood Editions. Rehm's poems are puzzle boxes of words; she turns them this way and that revealing a drawer here and a drawer there, yet she uses so few words per poem. Each one is full of surprises and twists and turns. She manages to pack social commentary into these bite-sized turns of phrase that burst open in your mind long after you've finished reading. I absolutely recommend her.

Jeff and Jamie love poetry. We love Apocalypticism, dioramas, and mysticism. Send us your work.
